Four phrases hang in my office that explain my personal and business philosophy: Risk more than others think is safe, care more than others think is wise, dream more than others think is practical, and expect more than others think is possible.

People invest in real estate for various reasons, including long-term appreciation, rental income, portfolio diversification, and tax benefits. Additionally, some investors use real estate to generate passive income and build wealth over time. No matter your strategy, it is essential to understand the local market dynamics and consider factors such as location, property type, and growth potential.

Servicing our loans allows Ignite Funding to have greater control over the customer experience, streamline the loan process, and generate additional revenue the term of the loan.  Although servicing loans is not unheard of as a mortgage broker, it is unlikely due to the regulatory requirements and technology necessary to facilitate the transactions and tax reporting. Even more unlikely is a mortgage broker specializing in foreclosure assistance, which Ignite Funding also does. Which is why we say we are a full-service broker. For this reason, Ignite Funding takes the in-house operation philosophy further to insulate the client experience before the client invests. You will only discover Ignite Funding through our internal marketing efforts or from friends and family. We are not gorilla marketers—we are organic marketers. We want to work with individuals seeking passive income in real estate investments—a round peg in a round hole approach.

We also believe in product development to make borrowers as successful as our investors. All our technology was built in-house from the ground up. We listen to borrowers' needs and build solutions to meet them. Financially sound borrowers lead to interest payments and loans being paid off to our investors.  

All of this brings me back to my personal/business philosophy. Too often risk creates paralysis and fear of making the wrong move. I analyze and calculate the risk and take action. I then stand by my decision. If we service a loan, we stand behind that loan and follow it through to the end. I care about my employees, our investors, and our borrowers. We need all three parts to make this work successfully. I am proud of the business I have built, and I demand excellence. Working for a leader like me is no cakewalk, but it is always an adventure! I believe that if you build it, they will come. My dream is to expand this company bigger and make it better for everyone involved, which is why I put so much into it. Expecting growth is not an option for me, it is a passion.
